Using state-of-the-art laser technology, we have laser solutions for the various types of pigmentation that can be bothersome to our clients, that are safe for most skin types, and effective on most types of pigmentation concerns.
The causes of pigmentation can be widely varied; but is often following a skin trauma of some kind whether it be; including acne scars, surgical or injury scars, or other forms of 'trauma' to the skin that is more gradual and less obvious, such as sun exposure and friction.
Pigmentation can appear on our skin in a range of forms; from small discoloured spots, sun spots of various forms, right through to full-face discolouration, freckling, or other types of pigment conditions that can stem from various causes.

How does the Pastelle Laser treatment work?
Laser removal of pigmented lesions works by destroying the pigment in the skin without the need for excision. This process in completed in 3 simple steps: 1) Light Absorption. he laser produces short nanosecond pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the melanin pigment in the lesion. 2) Pigment Breakup. The laser light is transformed into photoacoustic waves which mechanically break up the melanin pigment into smaller particles. 3) Pigment Removal. These particles are then removed by the body’s own immune system, as the skin’s macro-phages clear the excess pigment from the area.
