The approach can be dialled up or down depending on your skin, your goals, and your lifestyle.

Two Powerful Technologies. One Treatment.
What makes the Alma Hybrid different is the combination. Most laser systems do one thing well. The Alma Hybrid pairs two distinct energies in the same treatment: one works at the surface level to resurface and renew the skin, and the other works deeper without touching the surface at all, rebuilding collagen from within.
Your clinician controls the ratio of each energy used in your treatment. That means the approach can be adjusted based on your skin type, your concern, and how much recovery time you can realistically plan for. No two treatments are identical because no two clients are the same.
Because only a portion of the skin is treated at a time, the skin can recover progressively between sessions. Most clients see the best results across a series of 2 to 3 treatments, spaced at intervals recommended by your clinician.

Our express version of the client-favourite LaserLift, designed to support collagen stimulation and skin renewal with less treatment time and downtime. Using the Alma Hybrid's non-ablative 1570nm technology, the treatment gently heats the deeper layers of the skin while leaving the surface intact, for a complexion that looks fresh, smooth and revitalised. Completed with a gentle peel, enzyme treatment or hydrating mask, selected according to your skin's needs. Particularly suited to a quick skin refresh before an event, or as regular collagen stimulation within your skin program.
For best results we generally recommend 3–4 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart, with maintenance treatments every 3–6 months. Minimal to no downtime is the usual response.

Every Alma Hybrid treatment at ECC begins with a consultation. Your clinician will take the time to assess your skin, understand your goals and your lifestyle, and recommend the right treatment level for you. There is no pressure, and no commitment required at the consultation stage.
Consultation for Advanced Laser Resurfacing (CO2 and/or Erbium Laser): $100. This is redeemable for a skin preparation product, or if you are not eligible it can go towards other retail skincare products to help prepare for your appropriate or recommended treatment.

Yes. Every Alma Hybrid treatment at ECC begins with a consultation. Your clinician will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals, and recommend the most appropriate treatment level for you. This ensures the safest and most effective outcome for your individual skin.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what we are treating and what outcome you are after. Some clients are happy after one session at a higher intensity. Others prefer a series of gentler sessions with less recovery between each one. For treatments focused on collagen stimulation, a course of 3–4 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart is often recommended, with maintenance treatments every 3–6 months if desired. Your clinician will map this out with you at consultation so you know exactly what to expect before committing.
When will I see results?
Some treatments can provide an immediate improvement in radiance, smoothness and overall skin freshness. Collagen-related improvements develop progressively as the skin remodels.
For treatments focused on collagen stimulation, results generally continue to develop over the following weeks to months. A series of treatments may be recommended depending on your concerns and desired outcome.
Does the laser treatment hurt?
You may experience warmth, heat or a prickling sensation during treatment. Your clinician will adjust the treatment parameters and comfort measures according to the treatment being performed. More intensive and advanced treatments generally involve topical numbing beforehand.
What is the expected downtime?
Downtime depends on the treatment and intensity selected.
Express LaserLift and GenesisLift: minimal to no downtime

Can I have an Alma Hybrid treatment before an event?
Yes, but timing is treatment-dependent. Express LaserLift and GenesisLift are particularly suited to pre-event skin preparation because they offer minimal to no downtime. More intensive CO₂ and Hybrid treatments require considerably more planning around your event.
Your clinician will recommend the safest timing based on the treatment selected and your individual skin response.
Is the Alma Hybrid suitable for my skin type?
We will look at this properly at your consultation. The Alma Hybrid has a lot of flexibility built in, so it works well across different skin types, but not every treatment suits every person at every moment. If it is not the right fit for you right now, we will tell you that clearly and point you toward what is.
What is the difference between ablative and non-ablative laser?
Ablative laser, such as CO₂, intentionally creates controlled microscopic areas of resurfacing in the skin to remove damaged tissue and stimulate renewal. Non-ablative 1570nm Erbium works deeper within the skin without removing the surface layer, using controlled thermal energy to stimulate collagen remodelling.
What is the difference between Signature Express CO₂, Advanced CO₂ and Advanced Hybrid?
The main difference is the intensity, depth and type of skin concerns being treated.

What is the difference between Express LaserLift and LaserLift?
Both treatments use non-ablative 1570nm Erbium technology, meaning they stimulate collagen without removing the surface of the skin. The main difference is the treatment intensity, coverage and level of collagen stimulation.
Express LaserLift is a shorter, lighter treatment designed for a quick collagen boost, skin refresh and visible radiance, with minimal to no downtime. It is ideal for regular maintenance or when you want visible skin refinement without significant recovery time.
LaserLift is a more comprehensive treatment designed to provide greater collagen stimulation and skin remodelling. It can be customised to target concerns such as fine lines, mild laxity, crepey skin, texture and overall loss of firmness.
Are there any risks or side effects?
All laser treatments carry risks and potential side effects. Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling and skin sensitivity in the treated area.
