Shape Restoration
Facial changes over time may include a reduction in natural substances such as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which contribute to skin structure and volume. Some individuals may choose to discuss options for altering lip shape or volume with a qualified health practitioner.
During consultation, the clinician will assess individual suitability, explain potential risks and side effects, and provide information on alternative options.

Results Tailored To You
Individual facial anatomy vary between people, and any discussion of lip treatments is guided by clinical assessment and consultation.
During a consultation, a qualified practitioner may discuss different approaches, techniques, and product options that could be relevant to the individual’s anatomy and treatment goals. The consultation provides an opportunity to review preferences, concerns, and any prior experiences with cosmetic treatments, and to discuss potential risks, limitations, and alternative options.
All treatment considerations are based on individual assessment, and suitability, outcomes, and responses vary between clients and cannot be guaranteed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a consultation?
Yes. Not everyone can have these treatments; our trained team members perform a full consultation and assessment before going ahead, and will only do so if it is a safe and suitable option for you. These treatments require a consultation with a registered medical practitioner. During this consultation, the practitioner will review your medical history, assess the treatment area, and discuss potential options, suitability, and associated risks.
The consultation also provides an opportunity to discuss the treatment process, possible treatment approaches, and any questions you may have. Individual response, outcomes, and the number of treatments required vary between clients and cannot be guaranteed.
How should I prepare for my treatment?
Although we cannot guarantee your actual treatment will go ahead on the day of your first booking (your consultation will reveal if this is suitable and safe for you), we do recommend you avoid blood thinners three days before your appointment. This includes pain killers, vitamin E and fish oil. We don't advise ceasing prescription medications without consulting your doctor.
If you have a history of cold sores, be sure to discuss this with your clinician, as you may need to take preventative medication. Also be sure to follow any pre- and post-care instructions provided to you.
How long will my appointment take?
The procedure itself typically takes approximately 30–40 minutes, which includes an initial consultation with a qualified practitioner. The consultation is an important part of the appointment and allows the practitioner to review your medical history, assess the treatment area, discuss potential treatment options, and explain possible risks, limitations, and aftercare considerations.
If the treatment is deemed safe and suitable for you, and does go ahead on the day, the procedural portion of the treatment generally takes between 15–30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. If additional areas such as the cheeks or jawline are included in the same session for example, the total time may be longer. Individual treatment duration can vary between clients and is influenced by factors such as the areas being treated and the complexity of the treatment plan.
When can I expect to see results?
You will see the results of your treatment almost immediately, however, it is very important to understand that your lips will be swollen, which can make them appear fuller than they will be once fully healed. Also, sometimes the appearance of swelling can vary from one area of the lips to the others; giving the illusion of an asymmetrical or uneven result - we assure our clients this isn't going to remain this way; and that it's all part of the healing process. The degree of swelling is variable from person to person. You can’t predict how much swelling you will get until you have had treatment.
It is recommended not to have treatments of this nature if you have an important event within the first two weeks after treatment.
